CIAO! Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’m Natalie (also known as Nat), and this space is where I share bits and pieces of my life and my little family’s adventures in Dallas.
I wanted to start this blog as a way to stay in touch with friends & family all over the world but also as a creative outlet to express myself. I am NOT a writer but I am very much in love with anything creative like; interior design, fashion, photography, party planning, painting, DIYing and a little cooking here and there. I am full of thoughts, ideas and great finds that I find myself constantly wanting to share with the world. Instead of blowing up everyone’s Facebook wall, I thought it would be better to move to the blog world.
A bit about me: My dad was born and raised in Paris so I spent a little portion of my life there but mostly grew up in Michigan where I met my handsome husband , Tony. We became best friends, and fell in love and were married in the summer of 2010 in Mexico. Since then, we’ve moved to Dallas and added two little Boston Terriers to the family; Stark and Pepper Potts (I’m a big Marvel fan). We spend most of these days exploring the town, working on our new home and trying to squeeze in as much traveling as we can! We are absolutely addicted to traveling and you will see a lot of that. I have to say I am very blessed to have had a unique upbringing with lots of traveling and adventure. I think it has made a huge impact on how I view this beautiful world but now I cannot stop and only want to see more of it, meet new people and experience new things. I have a few rules for myself and it is to question everything and try everything!
What the heck does “BISOUS” mean? As I said before, my dad is French (I am French, Italian and polish), my family speaks French and my parents actually now live on a French island in the Caribbean. Bisous is French for “kisses”. This is what we commonly say when you are saying good-bye, xoxo, I love you or signing off on a letter to a loved one. So this is MY WAY of signing off on my little letters to the world!
Thanks for following along!
